Around here, dogs are part of the family. We have had them our entire lives, from childhood to the present, and we LOVE hanging out with dogs. Now, hosting is working out great for us, our dog & cat, and our new dog friends! In addition to building a connection with our dog guests, we have attended doggy training classes and further our dog-specific education in areas like behavior, emotions, care & first aid. We make sure that your dog gets settled and has a fun, peaceful time with us. Our goal is to reduce the stress and anxiety that your dog and you may feel while you’re separated from each other.
We work hard to keep everyone safe, happy, peaceful and comfortable – from first sniff onwards.

What to Expect?
When we have the pleasure of taking care of your dog, We focus on building a strong connection with them, providing consistency, reassurance, brushing, playing, and abundant snuggles. Matt particularly loves bonding with dogs on walks and runs – especially around the river and Minnehaha Falls. Our resident dog, Sammy, likes to play and chill and our cat(s) may also hang out with us. This means our home is functional and dog-friendly and we have a fully fenced-in backyard. We have 3 steps up to the front door and 3 steps going down from the deck to the backyard. We reduce stress during meal times by giving dogs their own space. If needed, we have XL dog crate(s) and we can talk about how your dog may be most comfortable during the stay. It is possible your dog may have an overlapping stay with a couple other dogs’ stay. We work hard to keep everyone safe, happy, peaceful and comfortable – from first sniff onwards. If you think you’d like your dog to stay with us, please reach out. We (Matt or Susie) will reply to set up a meet and greet and we will no doubt ask further questions about your dog. If we are a good fit, we can book your dog’s stay. After that – rebooking is easy!
